About eighty-seven percent of people studied went on a vacation in the UK or overseas in the past year.

Data further highlighted that 25- to 34-year-olds were the top group to describe a vacation as "crucial for their mental health".

A high ninety percent of this group held this view, relative to the eighty percent overall response.

Eco-Friendly Concerns

Young tourists were also twice as likely to choose a company, hotel, or place based on its eco-friendly policies.

Approximately one in five of young adults considered environmental factors, versus one in ten overall.

Scepticism Around Green Claims

Several industry figures expressed doubt about these assertions.

Travellers desires to be more eco-friendly – yet if it’s pricier, they tend to reconsider about it.

Nevertheless, the same executive noted that millennial tourists "are much more conscientious and focused on wellness than when I was young".
